A resumé is an advertisement, and YOU are the product. Your goal is to get hiring managers to buy what you’re selling – which means giving you an interview. Maybe you have known how to write a resumé in your own language, but how about in English?

Part One Talking about yourself

= very good at something

I am an accomplished editor, having worked for five years at XXX company.

2. advanced adj.

=studying or dealing with a school subject at a difficult level

My English is at an advanced level.

3. committed adj.

=willing to work very hard at something

I am committed to doing some charity work .

Part Two What you can do

In talking about what you can do, these verbs are useful:

4. provide verb.

=give something to somebody or make it available to somebody

I provided data analysis at my previous job.

5. deliver verb.

=to do or provide the things , because you are responsible for them or they are part of your job

I delivered a training program.

6. enhance verb,

= to improve something

I optimized the system to enhance efficiency.
